The NHS provides most health care free of charge. There are a number of other services for which fees can be charged. We request payment for these services when you collect or before we send items.
When a GP signs a certificate or completes a report it is a professional duty that they check the accuracy of the information provided. This may involve examining the entire medical record.
We charge based on the time spent by the GP to complete your request. Requests of this type usually cost between £30-£75. We will contact you with details of the exact cost when your item is ready for collection/sending.
