The health visitor is employed by the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board and is attached to our practice. She is available by appointment for childhood developmental checks and will normally get in touch with you when these are due.

Mother & Baby Clinic currently being held on alternate Mondays between 9.30am and 10.30am by appointment

Midwife:

Claire Thomas

Diploma in Midwifery

The midwife is employed by Cardiff & Vale University Health Board and is attached to our surgery.

She runs fortnightly Thursday morning clinics and will make home visits in between by arrangement if necessary.

The clinics are sometimes covered by other midwives.

Arrangements for New Bookings. For the time being there is an online system for women to inform the Community Midwives that they are pregnant.
